Get to know ETX Hometown Media: Community-Focused Media for the Future

We’re ETX Hometown Media, a new media venture built on the foundation of community. We are locally owned and operated with a passion for creating a forward-thinking media experience that seamlessly blends print and digital platforms. The owner has several years of experience in print, digital, videos, and social media.

Bridging the Gap

We believe print media still has a vital role to play, but it needs a bridge to the digital world. To that end, we will first launch ETX Bridges, our digital platform that celebrates the unique individuals and stories that make our community special. Following closely will be the launch of our print edition, and finally, our innovative newspaper, ETX Bell.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s.

“Bridges” will be a community publication serving towns between Tyler and Jacksonville, Texas. It will combine the best of what magazines and newspapers are known for, featuring featured-centered local news, community events, and engaging photos and stories. It is the heart of our local newspaper.

Key Features:

  • Print Edition: Town-specific sections, local news, school activities, obituaries, community profiles, and a “just for fun” section.

  • Digital Expansion: Online platform with additional photos, videos, and interactive elements.

  • Community Engagement: Reader involvement through photo contests and opportunities to submit content.

By blending print and digital formats, “Bridges” aims to connect the community and provide valuable information to its residents.

ETX Bell is a new community newspaper launching soon serving areas between Tyler and Jacksonville, Texas.
